Step 1 — Start with your Home Profile setup

Every Underway home starts with a Home Profile setup — a one-time $439 payment to Underway. Our own team documents your home and builds its digital profile. The setup includes:

• The documentation session — an on-site capture of your home (room scans, data plates, shutoff mapping, and a full equipment inventory)
• Your Digital Property Profile — every asset verified and recorded, with manuals, manufacturer maintenance schedules, and servicer records
• Review of your inspector's signed-over report, and the documentation we source from it
• Home Radar activation — replacement outlook, recall and warranty checks, and a seeded maintenance plan
• Concierge onboarding — your preferred vendors set up and your first Home Brief scheduled

The setup fee covers Underway's work only — it is not the home inspection. Your standard home inspection is separate: you hire a Wisconsin-registered home inspector directly and pay the inspector directly.

What's separate

Three different things, paid three different ways:

• The standard home inspection — you hire a Wisconsin-registered home inspector directly and pay the inspector directly. Underway never charges for the inspection.
• The Home Profile setup — $439, one time, paid to Underway for the documentation session and your Digital Property Profile (Step 1).
• Membership — $99/year, paid to Underway for the ongoing service that keeps your home's record living (Step 2).
